What it is all about, for me.

Today is my anniversary... so my wife and I hit the road in the Jeep.

Top folded back, with a little bit of that hot air the Jeep does so well coming out the vents. 61 degrees, partly sunny... and a whole bunch of back roads through Amish country.

Talk about waving... folks we would pass would wave as they walked, waved from their buggies, from their porches.

Shaded, tree lined roads with single lane bridges... gravel roads throwing dust behind you... slow down to pass the guy driving the combine. Again, with the waving- our hands thrust up through where a roof would be if it wasn't a Jeep.

Smell the fresh cut grass... feel the temperature change from sunny asphalt to dark, dirt lined paths.

For all of you still agonizing over whether to get a Jeep... quit agonizing, and jump in. I am so glad I did.

Awesome.

Four years of ownership and the smile just doesn't quit.

I spent part of the day today in the YJ, doors off, bikini top heat turned up to max (61 degrees) giving my son a driving lesson in the soon to be his 92 jeep. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my day.

Somethings never change-

Like the sound of water, in the forrest, at night

The sound of a womans laughter, after dark

The sound of raked gravel on the driveway

The smell of pine trees at sunrise

Somethings never change
