Hey everyone, still new to this page but I purchased an 07 wrangler about two weeks ago and I'm trying to figure out what lift the previous owner put on the jeep. Been comparing it to lift kits online but am not sure what it is. Thanks in advance
The label is on the back of the shock looks like it is a rancho lift like unstuck said, you can take measure of springs to see if they are sagging or worn.
Guessing Rancho 2.5", the front sway bar link are too short. You want your front sway bar -5* to +5*, yours is -25* or more. Buy some JKS quick disconnects to fix that, it will take bumps and handle better on the road.
It definitely looks like Rancho 5000 shocks though. Definitely nothing done to correct sway bar links in front or back.
I'd buy the Rough Country RC1134 rear links and move the stock rear links to the front to fix that.
Spring wise, they remind me of the Pro Comp coils which are very tightly wound compared to other brands. But I think Pro Comp includes shocks in all of their lifts. Rear track bar bracket reminds me of Pro Comp too. And Pro Comp doesn't fix sway bar links or caster.
So, I'm guessing Pro Comp 2.5 with Rancho 5000 shocks...
How does it ride? The older Rancho 5000 shocks weren't the best and Pro Comp springs aren't great...
It rides a little rough, especially in the front. I have not had the alignment checked yet but I will soon. Also that's not a bad idea for the sway bar links.
