Any 2" or 2.5" lift will do. It all depends on how you will use it. Guessing by those wheels, you'll just be looking to clear some parking curbs, so a BB should do the trick.

With the euro bumpers, 20" wheels, chrome nerd bars, matching hard top, and random lights on the middle of the top, it's starting to look like a hummer. Anyways... If you really want to run that set up, I am 90% sure there is no lift on that JK. Google "JK 33" tires no lift". If you want to be safe listen to daggo's post. He knows what he's talking about.

I have a 4" lift with 35's on my rig. But I do a lot of wheeling. If you are going to take it offroad your going to bang those wheels up. Also if you are going to put 20's on it then your going to pay out the ass on tires. The bigger the wheel the more you going to pay for rubber. Oh and if you like the tan one with black wheels so much you should join the Army. Plenty of those types of vehicles rolling around. JK

Don't do it.

Once you crack one down on a sneaky rock that just happened to not be there when you looked the first time...you'll thank us all.

I changed my mind, I won't get 20'' rims.
I am searching for 17'' / 18'' black rims if you have any recommendations let me know

If you like black wheels, the MT signature series is pretty nice.

Hey!

I think u r going the right direction with 17 - 18 inch wheels. I would go 17s. What were you looking to spend on your wheels? My upgrade is going to include Mickey Thompson alloys in black. The locked version is like 210 and the normal black alloys are 160 or so. Am going with the black alloys for 160. They are nothing flashy but great quality. Matching them to Mickey 35 inch MTZs.

Big fan of Mickeys but look at ProComp they are comparable.

Good decision. With 33s you won't need to get hardly any lift as the Mickey wheels will have the right backspacing for no tire rub. That is the key, backspacing. If you wanted a lift no more then a 2 inch relatively inexpensive lift would do fine. Anything more than that with 33s would be too much especially if a 2 door.

Rock on.

Also 35s would require regearing to probably 5.13s otherwise the Jeep will be sluggish. The regear is like 1.2k plus.....so consider that when thinking of 33s vs 35s.
