I thought Heathcliff was a cat

Also, I just noticed some kind of felt or something on the seat belt where it plugs into. What's that stuff for?

I’ve gotten soft:

First Jeep was a 1980 CJ7 that had a steering wheel and a heater that barely worked. Fast forward 30+ years and now I have an armrest on the door, heated leather seats, automatic climate control, power locks and windows, and a radio with hands free phone connections.

That I'd end up spending 45 minutes on here before work and end up with only 1 minute to shower, eat breakfast and brush my teeth.

That I would be driving parts of my driveway all over Rhode Island, my driveway is made up of small stones which fit perfectly into my tread,,, and whip out of the tire around 40 MPH.

That after owning your first wrangler for a short period of time, you'll find that your face hurts. You'll then come to the conclusion that it's because of the big smile you didn't realize you had when driving it!

Same here! The Jeep makes Ohioans friendlier! Only problem is that I forget its Ohio and wave to random folks even when not in my jeep!

That people you have never met, or have only met briefly, will "demand" that you let them help you work on your Jeep. If you own a Jeep and you pay for labor with anything other than beer, food and laughs, you're doing it wrong!

When my wife takes mine I know it only a matter of time before she comes home with it scraped up. Being a jeep I don't mind because a little scrape and dent makes it look cooler!

That cleaning the carpets means pulling them out to hose them down as well as the tub. Made me love my Jeep that much more.

That you are very happy driving 65 when everybody else is driving 75.

You've got an excuse...you're in a Jeep!

That after spending more money on a vehicle then you ever have before you would have no problem scaring up the bottom or caking it in mud. Big smiles today!

My Jeep's mysterious noises are starting to pile up. I guess I should start fixing them and getting the cycle going correctly!

They are money pits at best. That doesn't make them bad vehicles to own, but I go into my YJ with the same mentality as I do a boat. You're never going to get what you put into it financially out of it, so enjoy it.

That I was sure I would take my dog everywhere, but I find that I have to take off the back window for the dog to fit, and lift him in because he can't jump that high. So he rarely gets to go.

That even though I contemplate a newer JK I would rather dismantle my Jeep and scatter the parts to the far corners of the globe than trade it in and see someone else driving it.

So does 88 mph in a particularly famous DeLorean.

This just happened to me the other night getting gas. I have a YJ and didn't hear her roll in behind me in her Rubi. She says I love your seats and 40 minutes later we went on our way. Hahaha This is my 5th Jeep and every time I let one go within a few months I'm kicking myself and looking for a new one. Ain't nothing like it!

Amen!!! I've never seen a Hearst with a luggage rack anyway so I'm enjoying my money and life while I'm here!
