I make it a point to stay far away from the vehicle in front of me to try and avoid a cracked windshield....

Agree with the windshield crack comments, and bug splatter. Haven't used the squeegee at the gas station in years - use it every trip now!

That when its dirty, it's clean, and everyone will ask you where you got your car washed.

Lol, that you guys need to find better salesmen who know their product!

Learned that if I see another jeep at the last second before they pass the other way, I feel bad because I may have missed their wave.

I have learned that if there's a hot milf or a guy with a tie on behind the wheel of that jku coming towards you...they will not wave back.

Oh and nobody told me I was going to always walk backwards through a parking lot so I could admire my jeep as I walk away from it....OR stand in the driveway and watch my wife drive off in it as if somebody was kidnapping my child.

That there's no leg room. Even cheap mods like painting the trim are fun. That at stock height my wife and kids need to use steps to get in. It leaks in the rain. Wondering why they don't make the windshield out of the same stuff as the headlights. 2 years, 64,000 miles about to get my third windshield. Doors got real damn heavy! You can start it in 4lo without the clutch.

With top down and doors off "warm & dry" is a relative term

I had two CJ's back in the eighties and now have a JK and my friend finally explained to me what Jeep stands for; Just Empty Every Pocket.

Third windshield in 6 months of ownership.

Also, that the color you choose plays a huge role in the overall interior look of the Jeep.

That those black plastic fenders would turn so nasty white within a year.

....nobody told me that my 2012 would hydro lock in a 8" puddle at 25mph....nobody told me that I would have alternate parking styles (straight in and back in) to keep the fenders fading at the same rate on the passenger and drivers side

And I thought that was just me...on both counts.

I never thought I'd be on my 10th year of Jeep ownership and still love getting in it everyday. Three years on my other cars and I was itching for a new one. This time it took me 9 years and I still miss my TJ. I love my JK but I miss my TJ.

That I have to park far back from traffic lights (with the top on) to see them or if I get too close, look like a dufus leaning over to the right to see them.
