Yep!

Or, that after driving my 1998 XJ for 11 years that the 12/13 JKU would be like driving a luxury vehicle. My back is happy now.

That knowing my wife and daughters can easily climb into my vehicle is of very little concern.

1. That the newness would take so long to wear off (almost three years and counting).

2. That the family would enjoy being in it as much as I do.

3. That it's the smooth paved roads that are the "bad roads".

Yeah I found out that when you fall in love with a wrangler you'll never own just one. I'm on my third. Had an '87, '95, and just bought a '13 JKUR. But to touch on the windshield issue, I think it has to do with the steep angle of the glass. Just straight up and down. I work for glass America and replace windshields for a living, and I do put quite a few in wranglers. Believe it or not though, Chevy trucks seem to be the most common windshield I replace. Maybe it's just where I live in ky Chevys are just more common.

That my temperature relativity, 50 is the new 60, would be affected vis a vis top down driving.

Had an 08 with nice radio. Got the 13 with same radio. Took me a month before I noticed these! And a few more days to realize they were on BOTH sides of the steering wheel! Jeep has gone luxury! LOL

That the desire for it to bounce over every expansion joint and follow every rut in the road is the same for a brand new JK as it was for my 99 TJ. Which is why it stays off the highway whenever possible!

That NAV units could be so unintuitive

And that I would own another (first was a 99 TJ, feels good to be "home")

What? And give up the thrill of spine crunching PogoDrive, JackRabbit steering and cyclonic wind noise? My man, those are the joys of driving a Jeep. If we wanted Novocaine and predictability we'd drive a Lexus.

Actually, the wife is with you 100%. Me, I love it (except for the occasional abrupt launch from the driver's seat )

That driving one delivering mail for a living.....130+ miles per day 5-6 days a week on curvy, gravel, mountain roads is a serious upper body workout.

But wagons have backseats that are actually useful. Wait, are you talking about a JKU? You know i'm talking about a 2 door here. And pickup trucks usually have nearly useless backseats as well. And with hard doors they even look like a pickup with the top down and doors on...lol.

That the rear dome light in a 13 jk over the cargo area can be pushed on doesn't appear that way dealership was stumped for 15 min thought it was a bad ground or something until they accidentally bumped it off haha this is also my first jeep won't be my last . 👍
