If I lived in some parts of the US, like Minneapolis, I'd take heated seats over hood locks any day of the week.

Sure, but for Jeeps that cost up to $40K+ why should you have to choose?
And for the purists out there, get a basic model. But when Chrysler asks for serious bills they should provide commensurate options, not force us into the aftermarket for what should be standard items.

I wish I would have told my woman to close the back glass first then the door. She tried to close it after the rear door was closed and said the wheel was in the way....summamabitch!

OMG ! ! I KNOW ! ! ! I had a Dodge RAM 1500 with the 5.7 Litre V8 and an After market exhaust system it was super loud and I use to put my boot into it all the time... of course the gf was all "you drive like a mad man slow down blah blah blah" but now in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara STANDARD ! ! I am driving so much more... slowly... admittedly I have 430kms on the clock so still breaking it in but really, don't feel like going hard... AND NOW ! ! ! the gf is all "you drive like my dad, why do you drive slow" (which i have told her he drives like a little old lady and drives me insane !!)... we will see how she feels after it is broken in and i can open her up... hahaha...

You know you're a Jeep addict when: You seriously consider taking a loan out against your 401k for mods (bumpers, lift etc) hoping your wife won't notice...until they mysteriously appear on the Jeep - then you hope she still doesn't notice!

After a year and 2 months of ownership, my regard for curbs and some roadway dividers has significantly dropped. I regularly hop a tire up on the curb parallel parking or making sharp turns in Philly.

That while you may love the Jeep Wave your friends will sit in the passenger seat and actively make fun of you for it

that you may consider choosing between food and jeep mods

that a rock will get stuck in your tire and drive you insane

That I would walk out of the store and some random guy would be taking a picture of my Jeep.
For the record, he was a Jeeper too. He was just stock and was shopping for lifts. His wife laughed and gave a big eye roll when he was asking me questions.

Or walk out of the store and compliment someone else's Jeep and have a 45 min conversation with a complete stranger.

my trip to the grocery store is roughly a mile, takes 5 minutes because of stop lights... However I regularly take the "scenic route" and drive around the outside of the entire mall, just because...

And really, what DOES the toggle switch between the power window controls actually do? I have not figured this one out yet...

That happened to me at the Gas station though, when I was driving my Chevy.

LOL. It locks the windows. Keeps your rear passengers from being able to use the rear window switches.

This switch is required to maintain your sanity if you have kids of a certain age who think "power window control they can reach" means "lets keep going up and down, up and down, up and down". My kid is 15 now and I haven't had to use that lockout in at least 2 months.

Yes!
Due to rear button placement, our kids feel it is fun to try and open and close theirs with their feet.

The turning radius and the clearance come into use a lot driving around town. I hate driving the wife's minivan because it handles like a cow compared to my JK.

I don't usually *need* to hop curbs to get into and out of tight parking places. Of course, sometimes it...um...just happens.

well ill be damned.. never thought of that. i don't have kids and never sit in the back seat... i thought it had something to do with when you have the doors off, since the logo shows the full door crossed out. i was always like, wtf, the windows still work when it is turned off.. is it broken?
