Wheels and Tires come to mind, if you are thinking about off roading.

Then there's leveling kits, or budget boosts, or lifts (which kind of goes with wheels and tires).

What do you plan on using your jeep for?

Really depends on your use of the vehicle. Don't blow your money on useless mods just cause you want to keep modifying it.

If you off road at all then save your money and get something practical. A lift of some kind, wheels & tires, a winch..

Well i use it as an everyday vehicle, but i do plan on doing some offroading. Nothing crazy though but i was thinking on waiting a while for wheels and tires because i cant afford to lift it yet. how big can you go on tires? i know i want 15in wheels and im eventually lifting it about 2-2.5in. just not yet. what are some offroad tires that dont kill gas mileage? im new so if i sound stupid...my b haha

my copper atp in 285 70 r17 is actually lighter than the factory rubicon tires. and they rock. for a lift the best budget boost you can get is the rough country 2.5 series 2(make sure you get the series 2) retails about 179. ive installed 4 and have yet to see any issues with them. i think half my club is running the same lift. the guys that bought the basic kit for 130 end up spending more on theirs. track bar for the rear and new links. just spend the extra and get the series 2

Ill have to post some pics of my jeep after i get off work so you can see and give me more suggestions, is that ok?....I dont really know anything about the lifts or tires or what the tire numbers mean or anything but if i lift it without the tires first im afraid that it will look dumb with the small factory tires??.... so i was going to get my wheels and tires first...??? That lift sounds great though!

this will make the numbers make more sense
Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

and i did the lift after the tires. 285/70r17 is basically a 33x11.5 it will run on the factory rim with wheel spacers or an aftermarket rim with 5in or less backspacing.
read all about it here Largest tire on stock JK? Here's your answer!

as long as you dont disconnect offroad you dont really need the lift but the belly clearance is nice.

na just watch the weight of the tire you buy. for example my tires are 49lbs each. the falkens in the same size are 61lbs each. it makes a difference

Just start plasti dippin everything. Start with the Jeep logo, then the stock wheels, then the door hinges. Once you are done with plasti dippin, you can put some kind of mesh screen in front of the radiator. After that, a Harley Davidson mirror for when you take off your doors. Cut your stock bumpers, cut your flares. If you prefer to start with safety stuff, you could get a CB radio, a first aid kit, some kind of tow strap for when you need to pulled out of something, or when you wanna help someone else out of something. Good luck on your mods, be sure to post pics as you go.

you in a club? CBs are dying. my club uses mostly FRS radios but ill be putting a CB in mine just for the reason that the bigger meet ups they are used more.

id do seat covers and floor mats right off the bat. mine went in with 15 miles on the clock.
