What surprises have you found in your Jeep

I keep finding new "things" about my 2012 JKU...I just noticed on the lower passanger side of the windshield is an etching of a Jeep driving up the glass....similar to the black Jeep grill that is behind the rearview mirror.
It took a month for me to discover that the rear carpet liner is two sided and rubberized (Is that a real word?) What have you found?

Surprises like that hahaha... I thought you meant like this:

1. some weird looking bolts sitting on the lip of the hard top inside, that were there with my brand new out of the factory 2012

2. some weird looking plastic plug like thing sitting in the rear cargo space

Neither look like they go anywhere on the jeep

Someone else just posed the other day, an odd looking piece of metal they found in their new one, painted the color of the body, that no one has yet to identify

Others in the past have found equally odd bits and pieces in their brand new vehicles.

There sure are a lot of surprises to be found in a new Jeep. Just waiting for the proverbial prosthetic leg or arm one of these days.

Found in a 2013 on a South Dakota lot...what were the folks at the Jeep factory thinking?

There's a woman in the radio that does EVERYTHING I tell her if I just say it right. How 'bout that?

LOL I had one of those moments. A couple days after I brought the Jeep home I found a small bolt on the driver's side floormat. When I posted a picture, the best answer I got was that it was a bolt for the soft-top frame. Umm, I have a hardtop, never had the dual top option, etc., and the bolt appeared out of nowhere after driving the Jeep for a few days Apparently it really was an extra because I never found a hole missing a bolt yet and nothing has fallen out from under the dash either (where I suspect the bolt fell from).

After climbing some STEEP walls, I found two things.

First, engine coolant will spill out of the overflow tube if you go to crazy steep angles.

Second, the coolant bottle will lift straight out I you need to check it for any reason... Cool!

The etching on the windshield is also done on the 2011 jks. If you bump the turn signal it flashes 3 times.

Ive found a plastic collar looking part that no kidding came from behind the dash. That was a few days after i got it home and everything is still working perfectly.

Storage Under center console lid 2011+

If you look under your center console lid you'll see there are some storage clips. I put a permanent marker on one side, and a tire gauge on the other side. There's also a spot that looks like you can put Kleenex in it.

The tailgate has a detent when opened all the way to prevent it from closing when loading/unloading. I was using a car washing brush to keep it open until someone told me about it.

So I unbolted the hardtop to remove the soft top since I'm going to leave the hardtop on until next spring. After reassmebling everything, a couple hours later while doing other mods, I look down and see a hardtop bolt in the floor. After looking and seeing all 6 in the back were instaleld, I start cursing realizing it's one of the ones under the freedom panel. Then, after taking both off again, I find those were installed back. Turns out I got a free extra hardtop bolt with mine...
