Drove home from the dealer with the top off. My kids and I thought it was a good idea until we started driving and realized it was 50 degrees out. Needless to say we had the heater on and nobody said a word. Lol

Yanked out the complete factory audio system and replace with a new HU, amp, speakers, sub, wiring, etc. The first weekend of ownership was the dash parts all over the driveway. Tooka a few days. Was fun driving it with the left side of the dash out...

Drove it home from the dealer on a Sunday evening. Had to go to work the next day but busted out a full detail on it the next weekend. Bday and Father's Day coming, so hoping for a few accessories.

Drove it home from Lincoln. That's 3 hours away. It was a fun drive. Stayed on the rural highways, and just enjoyed this amazing ride.

Drove from dealership in the rain to the Publix for a sub, and got home for the Blackhawks game!

Drove it off the lot and ran about a mile down the road. Parked it for a bit and just sat there smiling.

Then I took it home and surprised my boys. They lost their minds.

"is this the kind where the top comes off? Can we take it off now? Oh man I can't wait for you to take me to school tomorrow! "

It was a fun day.

Bought my 2013 black 2 dr JK on Saturday, 25 May. Drove it "towards" home but it kept pulling hard over towards a trail that I'd always wanted to explore. I pulled in the yard, jeep half covered in mud and told the wife I traded in the mustang...We both love the Jeep! It cleans up nicely too

Got it home after an hours drive from the dealership, then went on line and ordered wheels, running boards, stub antenna, door guards, 1 pc grill insert, decals, and a pizza. LOL

Drove to daycare to pick up the kid early then drove home, parked it in the center of the driveway and waited for the wife to come home since it was a surprise for her.

Turned the rear-view mirror 180° to increase viability front and back, in the dealer's lot before I started it for the first time. One of the best free mods.

Drove by Lake St Clair for about 2 miles, lookout at the sun set and thinking about my future with the jeep.

Just kidding, I don't remember.

Made the deal, drove to the office where a coworker said "is that yours?" "Ya" I said. He was upset because I hardly work and have a new Jeep. heh.

Drove home from the dealership, picked up my gf, and left for vacation. Was a good way to break it in.

Spent the day finding excuses to drive places.

"I'm going out to get coffee honey, do you want anything?"

"We have coffee. I just made a pot."

"Yes, but I want Tim Hortons. From the branch on the other side of town."

It was my birthday I remember it well. We drove it home from the dealership and the whole way home I was so excited that I had finally got my dream car I would yell out " it's my birthday" and "I got my jeep!" pretty much to everyone I saw on the road that whole day.

Having lived in Toronto for 2 years, this comment is extremely hilarious...
An actual conversation with my brother-in-law in my car once went something like this...

Me~(Getting ready to pull into a Tim Hortons)I want a Tim's, you want anything?

Him~Don't go to THAT Timmy's, go to the other one.

Me~Which one, the one at the next light, or the one on the block two lights up by the QEW?

Him~No no no...The one next to the Harvey's over by the Rona.

Me~Oh! Is that one always has old fashioned TimBits?

Him~You know it, eh!

Started trying places to put my CB radio. Ended up putting it on the sound bar with double sided tape. I have the sunrider top and it fit up there with room to spare.
