what winch bumper and why?

hey jeepers and what's up!? wanting to know opinions on winch bumpers. i am trying to stay on the less than $500 side and i am caught between smittybilt xrc mod, smittybilt src winch stubby (but, wondering if there is a grille guard out there that will fit it), the bestop stubby, or body armor. help PLEASE! especially if you know of a guard that fits the smitty src winch stubby. thanks!

I picked up the Rampage Recovery Stubby Front Bumper. I liked the looks of the bumper as well as the price. It also came with the winch plate, D rings, and allowed for me to keep my OEM fog lights.

I did a warn Rock Crawler stubby bumper. It was maybe over your budget but I like it because it's a stubby bumper with mounts for the factory fog lights, d-ring mounts and built in pockets to receive the nose of a hi-lift jack, adding to stability when you need to use them.

I ended up welding on my own light tabs so I could run some small lights on the front.

both very nice bumpers. i am not sure on the rugged ridge as it appears that the grille guard is very close to the grille and i like them angled away to the street myself kinda like both of these.

I have the Warn Rock Crawler stubby as well. I think it's in your price range. I like mine.

on the rampage bumper, did you get the rear as well? i have heard it is hard to get one that is not jacked up from shipping as well as the fact that they are not easy to install a tow hitch with. please correct me if i am wrong on that.
