I asked for the tailgate cover....I hope I got it. I wanna see pics when it's done.

Huh, usually it's the black ones that are really brittle and break easily. You're not using power tools to drive em, are you? If not, I guess they're just feeble. Hopefully the new ones will do better. Spray a little WD-40 or a little 3-in-1 on em before you screw em in...should help.

Had my seat up for the first time.
(thinking) lotta room back there. Think I'm going to just keep the seat out and buy a liner. Nobody sits back there anyways

lol...yeah, that's kind of "attic or bust."

There should be a statute, anyway, that says all Jeep mods must be given out at least one week before Christmas...otherwise, a lot of us would miss the holiday itself, standing out in the garage cursing and trying to install everything by the end of the day.

They feel pretty brittle. Just turned and pop! must just have bad luck today.

They make receivers that have the bolts welded on one side to make it easier but spose that doesn't matter now lol

yeah...I knew that....but somehow ended up with nothing attached...still have to put in the wiring harness....I guess I don't really need it right now...it's only used for the bike rack right now.

That would be very counter productive if it's already on

Christmas with the inlaws scored me the bestop underseat security box. Pretty sweet. My center console doesn't really lock anymore and I am always afraid when rolling wide open to come back and find my glove box pried open some day. Now I can just leave it unlocked so nobody has to break anything to see that only a few maps and the owners manual are in there. Wallet and other good stuff will be safely locked up. It looks kinda obvious with the door open, and I imagine doubly so with the doors off, but there is no hacking into that box.

On a side note, the bolts that hold the seat on are really, really, really in there. It took 36" of steel pipe on the end of my ratchet to budge those suckers, and even then it was hard. Holy crap.

couple of yellow/white strobe emergency lights that clip to my visors.

Installed last weekend and already used 'em twice when we had two trees blocking the roads on the way home from Boy Scouts last week. Both trees covered an entire lane, about two foot high with pieces everywhere from crashing down. Someone would have been hurt pretty bad if they didn't see them in the road. We put the flashers on and blocked the lane while we pulled the trees off into the ditch and cleaned up the debris from them. Lots of snow and wind, gets 'em everytime!
