What's with all the stickers ?

I have never seen so many stickers with the barcode. They are everywhere on almost every part. With time, some fall out.
But it does look a bit like it was assembled from some lego instructions......
A bit weird don't you think ?
Can't they be removed at the factory on the assembly line ?
Does JEEP = Kitcar ?

jeeps kind of are like legos, though. actually, i'm not sure who said it on here, but he said that "jeeps are like the legos of the automobile world."

Those are labels that state that that part belongs to that specific Jeep. So if your rig is ever stolen and they part it out, the cops can ID the stolen parts.

Funny you mention that . . . I sold my rear seat to a guy that bought a salvage (recovered stolen) Jeep and was trying to get it registered and the cops gave him all sorts of greif about where he bought the doors, seeing that the stickers were removed.
