I've seen a few with them. I think they're an option. This would be a capable DD.

Yea here in MD around where I'm at it's 55 mph max. Just not as fun anymore that you can't use the 500 HP you have.

I went from a Lexus isf to a jeep.... I just did this so I'm not too sure what I like more. I agree with what some other people have said tho
Like not being so stressed out while driving or stressing about pot holes, curbs.

I'm sure once I get out in the dirt and lift my jeep I won't be looking back.

re: "I would actually rather drive the jeep than the challenger."

......welcome to the Wrangler Zone.....where hidden adventures lurk behind each new excuse to turn the key....and where the inhabitants no longer care what they used to think was fun.....they just go wheeling.....and the dark sun moves away from their clouded worries, the tops come off and somewhere there is a trail replacing the asphalt despair of their former distorted lives.....

I went from a 06 Pontiac GTO modded and a 09 Pontiac G8 GT modded to a jeep. Don't know the reason. But I like the jeep. Maybe the freedom of knowing you can drive no matter what the weather throws at ya.

I still love my srt 10 over the jeep. Thats just me though. My truck puts 611 to the wheels. However it dont see mud or sand just wax and shows lol they both have their pros and cons but i like the 10 better.

Why don't you trade in your Challenger SRT8 for the Grand Cherokee SRT8? Then you can have the best of both worlds. And if you get tired of driving the GC on the street, just lift it, throw some lockers on it and swap out the 20" wheels with street tires for some 15" wheels with 37" mud terrains and attempt a new speed record on the Rubicon Trail! Problem solved .

Hahah any other SRT would put me in the same boat. Something that's pricey and I'd want to keep nice. Not that I don't want to keep my JKU nice, but it's just different. It's so much more relaxing to drive the JKU. I'm gonna let the Chrysler/Fiat plan continue and see the revamped jeeps of 2013. Maybe just keep the challenger since I won't owe that much in a year and it was mine from 2 miles on.

My MINI Cooper doesn't get many miles on it anymore, the JK is much more fun with the top off and all - Here in NC I don't have to put it up (I did put it back on last weekend along with the doors) until late November early December! And I really enjoy bolting stuff to the Jeep!

Another huge benefit is the easy left turns over the medians here in NC - they're everywhere - The DOT doesn't want any forward progress as far as I can tell! I do enjoy the reactions of the passenger(s) and / or other drivers as I make a normal left turn over the median and into the correct lane! I always make sure its clear first!

When I do hit the city, I too think my Wrangler is fun as all get out... I like the tight turns, and I won't lie... I've been tempted to see obstacle courses where none were intended. Lol. So far, I've remained a good lad.

I had to haul some big stuff the other day, and had to fill up my OTHER ride....a Ram 4x4 2500 Hemi.....records show from the Wrangler purchase date of 12/30/10, I now have had to fill my pick up tank up THREE times....this whole YEAR!!!

...well...other than that week of towing the camper around the coast...

Wrangler is WAY more fun!!!

My other ride is a 2008 Charger SRT-8 Super Bee #581. As much as I love the Bee, I enjoy my 2012 JKU Rubicon much more. I OCD to much with the Bee and the Rubicon is just tons more fun to drive without worrying about curbs, parking garages that have to much incline, people always wanting to race you...etc. Still love the Bee but I drive my Rubi alot more...

Since I changed exhausts no one wants to race me anymore thankfully! Way less obnoxious to drive around lately.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the "new" Liberty:

Another product in Jeep's future is a compact crossover that should debut in 2013 and possibly be based on the Fiat Panda Cross. The Liberty will get a minor redesign for this year and be replaced by a Fiat-based crossover, likely in 2012.

I'm so with you on the 'other vehicle' thing. My Cadillac has 'lot rot' from letting it sit for too many weeks. Now I have to take it in to get the brakes cleaned up. I can hardly blame myself or whine tho since the Cadillac was a gift afterall.
