What's your favorite shovel to throw in your JK?

What shovel brands, lengths, blade shapes, D-handle or straight, throw away or top-of-the-line, do you have in your Jeep?

Thanks, I need to shop for a new one!

As to axes, I'm sticking with wetterlings... can't go wrong:

Wetterlings®

I picked up a great no name folding trenching tool from the local military surplus store. It folds flat into a <12" square shape and also found a canvas sack to slide it into from the same store. Less than $10 bucks as I recall.

I used to carry a trenching tool, but I found that a longer handle makes it sooo much easier to use. Basically it's just a short, D-handled, rounded garden shovel that you can get at any hardware store. I'm guessing the handle is about 15 to 20" long with a 10" blade.

Folding, compact is good! Always had those as a kid - WWII surplus.

Do they still require you to carry a shovel, axe and bucket in some CA, Sierra foothill counties during fire season? It's a good idea when going off-road in dry season.
Hot cat + dry grass, brush = fire!
