whatsit 4

I have had my jeep for a couple months now and since it is my first jeep I am a total newbie.

Ok...so... I was loading some tools into the back of my used 07 JKU when I noticed this bracket mounted to the roll cage.

Am I missing something?
Something supposed to be there?
WHATS IT FOR?
Theres one just like it on the other side.

That bracket is for the soft top, when the original purchaser bought it, it either came with a hard top and soft top or just a soft top. That is where the brackets for the soft top bolt.

See Attached picture.

It's for the soft top version to attach I'm guessing you have a hard top

Theres a place online where you can go to view what came with your jeep when it was purchased. Mine did come with both. Unfortunately the soft top was not included when I became the purchaser.

Thanks for the reply.
Much appreciated.

Do you remember the website?
Been trying to research mine.
I have tried finding a monroney for my 2011 JKUR, but no luck so far.

Yeah... go here and create an account and register your VIN as belonging to you. Its in case of recalls.
https://www.moparownerconnect.com/oc...nersLogin.aspx

Then, click on the "Learn & Use" tab.
All kinds of info there.. but click on the Equipment option and it will show you everything that came with your vehicle including the optional...
