The stock Rubicon Wheels and Tires look a little small for my 2 Door JK.
Wanted some suggestions for wheels and tires from you.
Thinking 33"s with 16" wheels possibly 17" wheels.
Wouldn't mind getting aggressive looking AT's but definitely thinking more MTZ.
Want a wider tire for stance as well, so thinking I'm going to get some 1.5 spidertraxx wheel spacers.
Pictures of your wheels and tires would be appreciated.
16s will save you weight, and the tires will be a good bit cheaper. 15s would be even better, unless you just don't want the fatter sidewall look.
Also, forget the spacers. Just another part that can go down for a dirt nap, if not properly maintained. Also an unnecessary expense.
Since you're planning on new wheels and tires, just buy wheels with a smaller backspacing #. If you get wheels with 4.5" bs, you'll clear your lift and your tires will stick out about 1.75" farther than they currently do (given your current tires on stock rims). Go down to 4", and you'll get 2.25". Add fatter tires to that setup and you'll get even more.
The only time you'd need spacers is if you wanted to run bigger tires on your stock rims, and needed to push the wheels out to avoid rub.
