Wheel locks and a bikini top

Just bought the 2-door Sahara and I'm loving it. I need to invest in some wheel locks since I live in nyc and was wondering you fellow jeep lovers had any recommendations. I went to Quadratec and found some from gorilla high security wheel locks for $20. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm thinking of getting a bestop bikini top for the summer. Is it worth it?

Thank you all for your feedback.

I happen to have a Bikini Top I'm going to put up on the classifieds, as soon as i hit my magic 15 posts. It is off of an 87 wrangler. Not sure what year yours is.

How about that! I wasn't even looking at what section I was clicking into. All I saw was "Bikini top" I think this is number 15. I'll retreat back to where I belong.

congrats

go to 4wd.com and stick with bestop, if you have the 2 door they have the sounbar cap which protects your sounbar from the elements and also provides more attachment points for a windjammer, i'll b getting all 4 bikini, windjammer, deck cover and that soundbar cap...i work in manhatten so i drive in when theres OT and have a factory softop and park in the street and so far no problems with anyone trying to get into my jeep....if they want to they can but i dont leave anything out in the open....

i prefer the safari top over the bikini top because it gives more coverage and use that in combination with a deck cover all summer long and remove my soft top completely until the fall. i love it. however if you plan on keeping the soft top on and using the bikini top occasionally for those days when you want an open cab feeling with some protection from the sun, i say go for it. they're not that big an investment and you can always sell it if you end up not liking it.

as for the wheel locks, i have those same gorilla wheel locks for my spare tire. it's never been stolen so i guess it works!

You drive your heap from the Poconos to NYC?!?
Daily?
Your fuel expenses must be horrific....

OP --- I have Gorilla locks on my Mini Cooper to keep my race wheels where they belong. They're easy to use.

Thank you fellow Jeep Family members. I'll be leaving the soft top on during the warmer months here and use the bikini top in between.

I just bought an '08 Sahara and it came with wheel locks. Isn't that the norm or did my dealer just go the extra mile?

I got a sweet deal on my Wrangler so I'm guessing he left off the wheel locks out of spite...bastids. No worries. The gorilla locks run for $20 for all five locks and from what I've read...they should do the trick. Thank you.

The Sahara doesn't come with wheel locks; they're an option.

I just ordered the gorilla wheel locks from 4wd.com and hopefully they'll do the job. I also ordered the safari bikin top w/ the header and got a better deal here than quadratec.com. Call your order in since they're on back order on the headers. They're getting a shipment of 200 apparently in the next two weeks.
