I am interested in mounting 33's on 08 stock suspension JK with modified fender flares. Can you guys suggest what is the widest Size tire I can mount on stock wheels?

I don't think so. Some have reported their speedo to be more accurate with 33's

I recently installed 33s on mine. Speedo is dead on. However, I expect the odometer and MPG numbers are a bit off, since they are tied to the tire diameter as well. I may end up getting a procal, but it is not as high up on my priority list as it once was.

Largest tire on stock JK? Here's your answer!

On my Sahara, I couldn't really tell any difference on the speedo. However, I did notice the 33's stole some power at hiway speeds. The super motor in the '12 may not even know they are different.

That will depend on the backspacing of your wheel. The lower the backspace, the further out they will stick.

You have to correct. Mine was off about 1.5mph for 285/70/17's which are 32.7" tires. Might not seem bad but it does throw off mileage of vehicle over time. My factory setting was 30.75 for the stock 255/75/17 which are 32's. My new setting for the 285's had to be set to 31.75 in the computer. One inch more then stock. Also, it throws your gas mileage calculations off. Setting is usually about 1" under actually tire size depending on air pressure. If it is close to stock, the tire probably is under pressured
