When does the addiction slow down?

I've had my Jeep for almost two weeks.

When does the addiction slow down?

I started slow. Decal removal, under seat lock box, gear bag, hi-lift, tail light guards, headlight guards, mag lite mount on driver seat.

Now I've sent a PM to XTRyan to order a new front bumper (Barricade Trail Force HD) and TJM rock sliders.

My "wish list" is growing faster than my "completed" list!

Flat fenders, rear bumper & swing tire carrier, 1/2 doors, Warn Zeon 10.......

i guess it depends on the person... i got my wrangler last year November, while i did a good handful of mods already, i decided to take a slight break with them for the last few months. fast forward to today, and im once again starting to look around for wheels and tires...

Modding is a never ending hobby, regardless of how much you have done already its just never enough. modding also has no time limit i guess

Had ours for almost one year and our list is still growing. Started with tires, wheels, lift, shocks, skids, bumpers front and rear, trail skins, all sorts of assesories, recovery gear, Jack. another skid and monster tracBar, Now were getting the money together for 4.56 gears, CroMo axles, and ARB locker for the rear, by then the 33 duratracs will be worn out (I think) and then we can go up to 35s and do some control arms and possibly a flowmaster exhaust..... I guess thats My answer...

So far I'm happy with my life, wheels and tires. There's just so much more I want to do!!

On a serious note, thank you to everyone on the forum that has been so helpful.

Since I don't have the problem I cannot answer your question. What addiction? Who, me? No way!

In truth, no idea. I slowed down for a while but now have diff covers and back seat recline kit on the way.

Its good dirty fun .... And the folks you meet that enjoy it too are generally top notch good people. I recommend a Jeep Jamboree very highly. Enjoy your Jeep!

If it makes you happy, and nobody gets hurt in the process, then do it. You only live once. That's what I think. Of course, hopefully you're wise enough not to spend yourself into debt. Don't do it; it's not worth it. Try and buy everything you need with cash (not credit); you'll be happier. Enjoy!

Same with me, except it always has a misfire when I do get my paycheck. Too low on modding fuel

This is a great lesson. Luckily I was fortunate to learn this early in life. Now I don't put anything on credit unless the cash is on the dresser and I'm just trying to earn miles!

I don't believe it ever slows down, it only comes to a sudden stop....and that's when you die.

EDIT: sinister beat me to the punch line didn't he. Well then.

I have found no cure or end for it unless one chooses to get rid of the Jeep. Its hard to mod what isn't there.
That being said, it is something I really enjoy. I could spend my money on other things both better and worse. Come to think of it I cant think of anything better.

It's just like being in Colorado, with all of that legal smoking dope being available. So the addiction just continues to get worse!!!!!!!

Just keep digging deeper into your wallet, because it never goes away!!!!!!!!!!
