When should i change my Fluids?

Two months ago I bought a 2007 JKUR with only 3700 miles on it. My question is when should I change out the diffs, trany/tcase and coolant? It only has 7k on it now but the fluids are 6 years old.

I'd change them ALL now! That rig hasn't seen much use and you don't know what it's been through! what a score for you!

I'd be thinking about a new battery, and check the A/C charge if it has it, change coolant, power steering and brake fluid. too. (Am I being too anal?)

Congratulations! 2007 - 3,700 miles! That's just cool!

p.s. You might want to look carefully at the tires, they are getting a little old.... Tires will "rot" just sitting on the rack, given enough time. Chrysler recommends replacing tires that are more than 6 years old....

Fluids are cheap insurance for longevity. Most fluid change intervals are based on both time "shelf life" and mileage, so I would change all of them now!

Thanks, that was what I was thinking. I need to do the oil this weekend so I will go ahead and add the diff to this weekend list. Taken the rest over the next few pay days.

Pretty low mile for sure. Did u pull a vehicle report? Pretty common for flood vehicles to have extremely low miles. Or totaled cars also.
To answer ur Q, I would def change everything...diffs, engine oil, brake fluid, radiator fluid, clutch, tranny (not sure if its an auto!), like stated above maybe even tires (depends if ur in a sunny environment).
Enjoy ur new rig!!!

I know the previous owner and the jeep very well, he is one of my best friends. he bought it new, trailered it to a few Jeep Jamborees and that was it. I changed the oil today and the diffs. A little confused though, bought 4 quarts of Royal Purple, and have 1 1/2 left. I filled them till the started over flowing. Maybe I didn't get all of it drained? Anyway thanks for the advice everyone.

Good to hear. Nice find! Dont worry about the fill. Front stock only holds about 1.5 and rear a bit less than 2, if I remember right! - ive got ARBs! If it was level when filling, it is the correct amount. Don't forget the other fluids as well. And the wiper blades!
