may I chime in on this, Iam also looking to regear, Iam runnng 35's with a 3" lift and I added a pumper, I have a 2009 jk auto 3.8 stock gears are 3.73, dana 44 in rear and dana 30 n front,would love to regear to get back some of my performance, Gas mph, strain on tranny ect, where should I look to be gearwise, and what are the best gears,

5.13's.. Superior Axle and Gear, Yukon, Motive Gear, those are some of the better companies to get gearing from. The shop will order everything for you so ask them where they get there gearing from before they order or if they offer you options then that is always good news

For the 3.8 auto w/35's you've pretty much got no choice but to go all the way to 5.13's.

IMO, Yukon makes the quietest (and best) gears for the JK, but Alloy USA, Superior and USA Standard are all pretty close (most are made by CHA Industries, so they're very similar).

You need to find a shop that has experience with gears, and have them order master kits for front and rear. Don't buy the gears yourself. If they order them, it keeps the mfr warranty and the shop's warranty intact, in case something goes belly up.

A fair price for regearing no matter the brand of gear is 1200 bucks give or take a few hundred dollars.. 900 bucks is on the cheap end.. around 1700 bucks is the highest you should pay. Anything over 1700 dollars is to much

I have my 4.10 take-offs from my 2011 rubi that I will let go for dirt cheap. I upgraded to 5.13s shortly after purchase.
