Hard Rock in Ocala, FL is a pretty major spot and a popular destination in central FL for off-roading. I've never been there myself, but it's on my to-do list.

I used to live over in holly hill and I only remember people mudding out there out in palatca out on 40 just go west. Or there still might be trails in palm coast but last time I was down there it was pretty built up.

Ocala nat. forest has miles of trails, stop by one of the Ranger stations and pick up their maps. join a club, there are several in central Florida.

Iím in the Hunterís Creek area of Orlando and Iíve been looking for local places to go as well. Havenít had a chance to make it out to Ocala Natíl Forest yet, but just last week I found a spot called Bull Creek thatís only about 30-45 min away that has a bunch of trails and some small mud holes (nothing hardcore). Iíve had my 2013 JK for about 3 months and this was the first time Iíve taken it out.
On the way to Bull Creek there are some ďresidentialĒ areas that have some decent trails (see pics below). If anyone wants to wheel let me know. Hell, Iíll take time off work if I have to
On the GPS Look up:
7490 Jellison Rd, St Cloud, FL

Hardrock ocala is nice, stock or upgraded you can have fun. I prefer lazy springs (felda fl.) great mud hole. Obstical course, wicked trails. Also if your a newbie or have a stock rig there is a ranger that will come help you. Hardrock you gotta wait till someone comes by or go in groups.
