the A-Pillar switch for the 2012 jk's is on back order through qtec. I ordered it and am now patiently waiting hoping the quoted 4-6 weeks is only 2 or 3 lol...seeing is how I just installed my rigid duallys this morning.

dang that blows. . i ordered the dead pedal and it took 2 weeks when it said 4-6. . hope it works out for ya soon. .

tip for the install- instead or running each switch individually to the battery or fuse. . i ran one heavy gauge wiring to the battery and relayed each switch to one another . . all have power and less headache adding on later down the road

I used the daystar. I had to replace the shifter boot so it wouldn't hit the switches.

There's plenty of room in the stock A-pillar for your own switches.

I have always planned to stick with the stock pillar and use plasmaglow switches. They make them in black as well, which is what I would go with personally. They are sorta pricey, but they look great. Of course, if I was going with tons of accessories, I would go with something like the sBox.

This is not my Jeep, but just an example of the plasmaglow switches.

Just FYI, those switches can be found for less then half of what Plasmaglow charges for them. Just google "Bulgin Style latching switches". You can find them from PC parts suppliers for around $12-$15 in various styles and colors.

You can tell from my switch color that I'm volatile and prone to butting heads with authority.

Probably the best looking switches I've seen. Very elegant.

If I didn't have an sPOD, I'd be all over these.

Drilled the hole for the switches. The wiring runs up behind the a-pillar cover. Pulling the side panel off the dash makes it easy.

Pulled power for the switches from the 12v outlet in the dash. The switches trip the relays under the hood for my aux lights.

I ordered the Daystar lower dash panel after trying to find a place to mount black Plasmaglow switches. I decided against A-piller due to the light, distraction.

$40? Just google vandal resistant switches, you can find them at most places for around $15. I use them on modded pc's. and they do look awesome.

You guys are chock full of ideas. Here are mine. Was going with that Rugged Ridge A-pod switch pillar but the correct on, the new one in black, is on back order forever.
