Where do you buy your jeep toys from?

I'm looking for a few new places with good reps and good customer service.

I've only ordered from Quadratec and Morris 4x4 and will not be ordering from one of them again.

A couple things I need immediately are a summer top(haven't decided which one I want yet) and thinking about the smittybilt cargo nets to keep my dogs in.

Any input is appreciated

why won't you order with quadratec?

I've ordered from EAD off road, 4wheelparts, quadratec, amazon, antennax, krawl off road, and I've heard amazing things from teraflex for lift kits.

I don't want to get into it and slander their name at all as most of it isn't their fault except for one mistake which was made this week.

Their customer service guys have helped me with the order a lot. It's pretty much all UPS's fault that i'm pushing 3 weeks since I ordered and still no bumper. Supposed to be here tomorrow

Thanks Kbwwolf and whiteyjfm for the input. I'll check those out

I have ordered from:

4wd.com/4 wheel parts
Jason at Krawl Offroad
Chris at Jeep Add Ons/Truck Add Ons
Amazon
Autoanything
Antenna X

I don't go with Q-tec cause they are usually more expensive than the others and shipping is crazy there. Although their website is fabulous and informative.

Never had issue with Quadratec all my orders go through Joe.

Northridge 4x4 is great...only down side it shipping takes at least a week as they are opposite corner of the US from me.

I usually go to quadratec to check products then shop off I amazon. Amazon has great prices compared to most other sites and the s&h is cheap or free most of the time. If amazon doesn't have it then I go searching on other sites.

I've been using Quadratec.

Haven't had any problems until I goofed on a recent order that I haven't heard back for them about yet.
Hoping to soon.

^^this. Will be ordering something from Joe tomorrow most likely. Found a cheaper price shipped, and I'm sure they will honor it.

I have also ordered from ORW (Off Road Warehouse). John is a great guy to work with.

Thumbs up

Pretty close to buying 4.27 ring/pinion set.

Got a decent price quote, along with lots of info I haven't yet considered, from Baseline 4x4 Outfitters.

Their reply to my questions were fast and professional. Unlike other places I emailed for quotes.

I order from the place with the best price, including shipping. I have ordered from quite a few different places. All things being equal, I will then chose the one who ships the fastest. For me, that has always been Quadratec.

Thanks for all the input guys.

The issue with quadratec is not really with the company, but more with UPS though quadratec is responsible for the package they send me. They have taken great measures to make sure I am satisfied with the product I am paying for.

The mistake they made this week is that they were supposed to re-order a bumper to be drop-shipped from smittybilt on tuesday so i would have it today, but they failed to do so. When I called them today to see where my bumper was they told me the order was never placed. Then 20 minutes later I get an email thanking me for my recent order. So my only complaint with Quadratec is that they failed to re-order my bumper when they said they would. If I do in fact receive it tomorrow it will finally end a 3 week ordeal with 3 damaged bumpers by UPS which I refused delivery on.

All in all, the Quadratec guys really have tried to take care of a first time customer and UPS kept screwing them over. This alone earned my trust and I will in fact continue to order from them.

i can thankfully say this. i've ordered from BDS, Q-tec, Discount Tire Direct, and AEV directly... in some cases I asked for price matching or better deals on shipping... but in every case, they shipped fast.. i mean FAST and everytime i called about a question... someone answered the phone and answered my questions.

that says a lot these days. truth is... if i find comparable prices at one of these places, even if there marginally higher... i'd probably choose one of them first. and i've heard great things about ACE and Poison Spyder customer service too..

I have used the big q and I have used JC Whitney......I went to a Jeep meet and greet at the Local Quaker Steak and Lube, and low and behold there was one of the people from Baseline 4x4. Yeah it is about a 20 min scenic drive for me. Granted most of the guys there were A LOT more into off-road than I am, but hey we were all speaking Jeep. SO far new bumper for the TJ and mats for the JK. Mats fit great. Haven't tried the new bumper on yet.

OH BTW...I felt like a kid in the candy store, every top and part I had thought about seemed to be right in front of me. Had trouble not smoking the ole credit card.

+1 and I think it speaks volumes when you see people posting the names of individuals instead of just a company name.
