I'm upgrading the Jeep this weekend with a lift kit (Teraflex 4" w/ 8 Flexarms) and want to put new shoes on her too. I'm looking at going with the XD Addicts in 17x9 and Nitto Trail Grapplers in 35x12.5x17. Any recommendations on where to get the best deal?
For tires discounttiredirect.com, not sure about this forum but other forums have a discount worked out for them. If they have the wheels you want they can have them mounted and balanced and shipped to you ready to go.
A lot of people dislike them on here but the best deal I found was actually Desert Rat. I was a little limited because I wanted Pintlers but decent customer service, mounted/ balanced/ tpms installed, and got here quick. They have several options on package deals. Give them a look. Good luck.
Check 4wheelparts.com. I just ordered DuraTracs and Pro Comp wheels for $600 less than Discount Tire Direct.... Which I would assume would be cheaper than my local Discount Tire. I also got free mounting and balancing, shipping and will get a $60 rebate when I mail it in.

For whatever reason, our local Discount store, seems to beat the Discount Direct price.
EXAMPLE: Discount Direct gets $280, less a $25 rebate, for a Duratrack 285x70RX17 tire. My Son-in-Law, just bought a set from our Local Discount store for $225 each.
That is $120 savings on the set, and that included the install. Tax, balance, and road hazard cost was extra!
I will probably get slammed for this but during my search for best deal on the 33" Mickey Thompson MTZ's Walmarts site came up and not only was cheaper but also there was not shipping charge for me to pick them up at a Walmart with a auto service center which was only about 15 miles from me. They don't have the largest selection and searching tires on their site isn't the best. But if you know what you want and enter it in the search bar its worth a look. It saved me a great deal of money. Wheels, all I can suggest is to stay away from Quadratec, they are a little high priced in my opinion. I bought my Rugged Ridge wheels from East Coast Jeeps and found them on Amazon. Yeah I'm a cheapskate!
For my wife's tires/wheels, we went with local discount tire shop that matched the DTD.com price and included lifetime rotation and balance. great service. They even rotate and balance my tires even though I bought them from DTD. I wish I knew they would have matched DTD when buying mine.
Now: 2015 Tank JKUR. AEV 3.5" lift with 315/70/16 GY Duratracs with level 8 Tracker wheels. C gussets, control arm skids, ACE engineering rockers, Engo 10,000 winch, OR Fab tire/can carrier. Gobi stealth roof rack. Sierra 4x4 trailer with CVT RTT and awning. ARB fridge.
So you got the online quote and took it to the local DT?
I just went in and told them what price I could get them for and they looked up the prices. As for mounting tires from DTD, yes, local store charges for that. I have always been happy with local Discount store.
