Where to mount a scanner

Hey guys, i'm interested in mounting a BC350C Uniden Bearcat scanner in my jeep. The dimensions are: 5-3/16"(W) x 5-3/4"(D) x 1-5/8"(H). I'm just curious as to where the best spot would be to mount it, without interfering with any other equipment within the car. Has anyone else done this in their jeeps? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

Rob

Try the glove box. Under the seat.

most people mount cb's on the dash or next to the gear shifter.

Yeah Cruser i was thinking about mouting it right on the side of the gear shifter there, that sounds like the most plausible spot, but castorj, what do u mean by the glove box under the seat... You mean under the passenger seat, or like on the side of the glove box?.. Thanks guys!

Inside the center consloe is a decent spot.

You can hide the wires under the shifter plastic and lock it up when the top is off and you're not around.
