What does that mean? It's supposed to take regular (87 octane) gas. What "difference" are you expecting? A difference from what?

I agree. The flammable kind seems to burn better in my jeep

When you post cryptic messages it's difficult to know what you mean. Your Jeep (not a car) is meant to have regular 87 octane gasoline as outlined in your owner's manual. It's on the CD in your glove box or can be downloaded from Jeep.com. I would suggest you become familiar with it. Using a higher octane gas in any vehicle that does not require it is a complete waste and could actually be harmful.

I use regular. But if you read through that thread I posted above, there are people who try premium, for whatever reason. And some people go with the cheapest gas they can find. Some love Citgo, others swear by Kwik-Trip.

Kinda like asking what's the best beer.

Just be sure you DON'T use E-85...

yeah cause apparently they dont have their own (or enough) refinaries so they export the oil and import the refined stuff (and not the good version)

Give the guy a break.. Use top tier gasolines with the proper detergents which will be your say chevron or shell. Use 87 octane no less and if your experiencing pinging or using a tuner/ Supercharger or anything that would need a higher combustion go with a 89 or 91. Other than that the computer is set to 87 octane unleaded so going with a higher octane wont matter in terms of milage or power cause it just figures your throwing 87 in the tank unless you tell it other wise hence a tuner. Hope this helps. Jared-
