Which is better

I installed a TF 2.5 coil lift on my 2012 Kj two door with the Bilstein 5100 shocks. I also installed the JKS discos. Anyways, when I lift the jeep up so the axle drops, the front brake lines are not tight but definitely need to be lengthened. I know if I were to disconnect the sway bar, the brake lines would be too tight or maybe even snap. I'm wondering what you recommend. Should I get the TF front brake line relocation brackets or go with extended brake lines. If you recommend longer brake lines, what brand is good. I heard the Crown lines are good.

The relocation brackets should suffice as long as you don't plan on going bigger soon. New brake lines can be expensive but any high quality steel braided line will be good. Crown are good ones. But save the money and get the brackets.

Your lift should have come with the relocation brackets??

Mine did.

May have been a pieced together kit since he got JKS disco's and not the TF ones.

Should have...at least for the rear, according to the Q (look under Product Details):

Could be, but the 2.5" TF kit doesn't come with discos. So I read him to say that he (a) got the 2.5" TF coil lift, (b) added Bilsteins, and (c) added JKS discos. If that's the case, I'm pretty sure the brakeline brackets should've been in the TF box.

I thought the fronts were longer to allow for more travel when disco'd

I have a sport model. When I ordered the lift kit it said it only had rear relocation brackets. I bought the Billsteins and JKS disconnects separately. So am I right to say it would be safe with just front relocation brackets? I really appreciate all of your help. By the way I actually got 3 1/4 inches up front and 2 1/2 in the rear with the lift. Afterwards I installed the 3/4 daystar spacers in the rear to level it out. The jeep looks absolutely awesome and rides better than stock as well.

Can you post a pic, I have a 4dr Sport and am thinking about doing the same lift except the discos, I won't be doing any serious offroading. Thanks man

Yep.. I also added 1" spacers to the rear.

I have a sport 2DR with the same lift except using the TeraFlex 9550 shocks brake line relocaters worked great and gave plenty of room for this setup.

2012 2DR Wrangler Sport, Silver/w dual top. 2.5" Teraflex coil and shock lift with 33" Goodyear Duratracs. Cat back stainless exhaust with resonator removed and Rugged Ridge split dual TP system/K&N Filter and back seat removed. 4.10 gears with Auburn HP LSD. Rampage stainless steel mesh grill insert. Third Wrangler I've owned and fifth Jeep total.
