Ok, for a 2 door, which screen do you guys like the most and why? There are more, Im sure, but these that I found are all approximately the same price range. I can't afford the fancy one that folds back lol!

I have the spiderweb shade for my 2 door. I have the one that stops after the rear seats. I love it and it keeps the jeep cooler without a top or doors, also cuts down on UV rays.

From what I've sent they're all pretty much the same. Some offer different colors, some are differently but competitively priced.

I have the spiderweb shade as it was the first and only one I had heard about prior to buying mine.

This is what I went with also and am happy with it for the time being. I will probably switch to Jeep Top shade sometime in the future though.

The Jeep Top shade sits on top of the roll bar. I just want a little more height.

I agree with TerryC6. I plan to upgrade to a JeepTopsUSA Safari Shade.

I have the SpiderWebShade now and it's OK to start with. When I got my OEM twill top, I liked that the shade could stay in place and be there when I took the top down. But adjusting it to accommodate hooking into the footman loops has caused it to drop and take away headroom. This seems to be a weakness of the shades that attach between the sport bars.

The JeepTops USA Safari Shade sits on top of the sport bars. So it will always sit higher than the bungie-based shades. Plus it can stay in place with the soft top installed.

I had a spiderwebshade. It was nice, it did give me shade and knock the wind down, but the gaps got me and it's not fun getting smacked by a stray bungie strap. I sold mine and got the JeepTops one. It arrived rolled up in a box (no folds or creases) and ready to go. I know it's more, but I should have bought it to begin with because I lost a bit more when I sold the spiderwebshade as used.

didn't they fix that?

Great idea for a thread. I've read through dozens on this forum about shade tops, but this is the first I've seen with a straight-up poll. I'm not voting in the poll, since mine hasn't yet arrived, but given the results to date, I'm glad I ordered the Spiderweb Shade.

I ended up going with Alien as I got a pretty good deal on a full cover (for the 2 door front and back). Basically, I went with the cheapest offer and since people have said it was comparable to Spiderweb, I thought I would get it.

Went on easy - about 15 minutes taking my time. There is a little gap along the sides but Im hoping as it stretches a bit those fill in a little more. Nothing bad at all, but the longer I have it the more I will find out.

I was skeptical when people said it knocks the temperature down. Seriously. I got it on Tuesday, and it has been HOT and muggy all week long (right around 100 degrees every day). I put it on, waited about 10 minutes and got in my Jeep and I gotta say WOW. The temp change was noticeable. Still hot, but I felt the coolness from the breeze a LOT easier. the seats weren't hot nor was the dash or the steering wheel. So I went for a ride and while it was still a bit noisy, it wasn't that noisy, nor was I needing to squint so much as I drove without a hat on. Overall, a sunshade was a decent decision and in the hot Oklahoma sun, that's going to be a blessing.

Oh, and the Alienshade came with a cool little Alien guy so there ya go!, LoL!

I went with the GearShade because you can have them custom printed with any image or logo you want. Mine hasn't come in yet. Takes a bit longer for the printing. But as soon as it's in I will post a pic and let you all know what I think about it.

Spiderwebshade all the way for me. After hearing about the alien shades peoples sucky Customer service not sorry one bit. The guys at SWS hooked me up with new spider balls after two years for free. Sent me a brand new set becasue I felt like one of mine was wearing out.

I have a spiderweb and really like it. Simple installation, well built in America and it does what it says it does.

Got my custom printed GearShade top today. Decided to have the image printed on the underside instead of the top so that I can see the image when the soft too is up (this way I can always see the stars). Completely love this thing. Construction is awesome and the pockets are great for added storage. Install was very easy. All in all, well worth the investment.

I like my Spiderweb, but since I have never used the used the others, I didn't vote. When comparing products, I'm more interested in those with firsthand experience with more than one brand.

Started with the SWS jkini and while it's a quality product, I wasn't crazy about the 2" gap around. I think it's a personal preference. Just got the 3/4 shade from JeeptopsUSA and whoa! The quality is awesome. Buckles are not the cheap kind that annoyingly loosens up over time. Full coverage from top of roll bar to roll bar. Both companies are made in USA.

Just ordered the spiderweb from Morris4x4, with $10 discount. Chose it over the Alien due to ppl saying SW sends out replacement bungees. Chose not to go with TUFFshade because I was offered $25 rebate for a 5 star review on Amazon; this makes it paid fluff and possibly deceptive. I HATE reading rave reviews on Amazon from people who received products for free or discounted in exchange for a review. Just me, I 'spose.

I have the spiderwebshade and love it. Has worked to keep me relatively cool even this week in Georgia's 100 degree days.

I have the regular size one. Only issue is the rear passenger head room is reduced. Might have gotten the jkini if I'd known. But my passengers still like better than the sun.

As for the gaps, I actually like em. Why? Try getting to your HT freedom panel latches without them. Its a lot easier to push my hand through the gap and twist them. And they allow me to tie a kayak down to the roll bars. A few millimeters gap doesn't bother me at all. Remember, the whole point of taking the top off in the first place is to have a big gap over your head.

Installed the Spiderwebshade last week.
Great protection and it looks nice as well.
Only issue I have is that when I put the trektop up i have to remove the spider balls on the 2 front loops.
Not sure what others do-other issue is headroom but ill take an inch or two less if it means my dome doesnt burn!
