Which Way to Go

I'm looking for advice on whether to attach my winch on top of the factory JK bumper, or go the hidden route. Does anyone have an opinion on either...pros/cons of either way? I plan to install tomorrow, and I don't want to second-guess myself. Thanks.

I like the open easy clean and service top mount. Hidden stuff means extra work when its time to clean, service etc....

I only know a few people that were able to cut and put a winch inside a stock bumper. It looks good both ways. Totally up to you.

^i vote this, unless you're thinking about getting a new bumper with a recessed winch mount. I like how people hide the winch in the stock bumper, but it seems like a pain to clean and maintain.
