which winch on the 10th anni bumper?

Hi,
got my 10th anni and had ordered a Warn Zeon 10-S.
BUT it didnīt fit the bumper.
The winch which is shown on the jeep webpage on the 10th anni, is this the 9.5ct-i?
Just want to be sure, that I donīt order another one which doesnīt fit. And I donīt want to rely on the dealership again. There I was told, that the Zeon will fit. But didnīt :-(
Need an advice.

Christian

9.5 cti and cti-s both fit. The tour models were a customized 9.5 cti-s.

what does "tour model" mean?
so the 9.5 cti-s fits. Is there a mount kit neccessary? The dealership told me I would need a $680 mounting kit! Can that be?

Weird. I am getting an AEV bumper...it seems to be the same bumper. I have been told a Zeon will fit with minot trimming to the light tabs. We will find out. Is there a bigger version of the M8000?

The AEV bumper is not the same as the 10A bumper. It's the same as the Moab and COD bumper.

The ones Jeep took around for shows and on the trail for initial pictures and PR stuff. That doesn't sound right, but I don't know for sure.. Think a few people are planning on putting a winch on their 10a in a few days I'm hoping they can chime in for sure.

For what it's worth, this picture of a ZEON in what looks to be the 10th Anniversary bumper was just posted on the WARN Facebook page.

would iīve been aware of this picture, I had pressed my incapable dealership into trying better!
In the meanwhile, another workshop where the mounting of the suspension kit happend, they also did the install of the winch. The Zeon 10-S...
Itīs a shame that the well trusted dealership canīt do where a small workshop had absolutely no issue.

10a winch bumper

I carried by 10A to have a winch installed and it doesnt have an adaptor plate to accept the winch. Dealer said the adaptor plate wont be released for several months and there is not yet a part number for it unless someone knows otherwise. Help if you can.

The workshop which did my winch install mounted it at the front bolts direkt to the bumper and at the back side (towards the car) they bolted it supported by a kind of spacers between winch and bumper

This sounds like its bolted " in there" but I'm not sure I'd pull with it.
This would contradict a lot of post on any other winch that mounts to a plate.

Does anyone know why it would not be centered in the bumper? would this cause any negative effects because it seems like an offset winch would be less efficient, beyond atheistic?

10th A Winch Plate

All, I have a 10a Unlimited and know very well the issue regarding the availability of the winch plate... with the following facts:

1) Even with the P/N used on an earlier post my dealer still could not find the proper item.
2) What if I don't want to use a Warn winch?
3) The "Mopar/Warn" setup is very expensive in my opinion.

Well, I decided to do something about it. I have designed an solution. Highlights include:

* Made out of sturdy galvinized steel (rust proof/or you can paint or powder coat to your specifications/taste)
* Universal winch ready
* built-in vacuum pump relocation mount
* Reasonably priced (target $159.00 + shipping)

If you are interested please let me know as it will help with interest/production as these are handmade.

the bumper has to be cutted to widen the space for the centered mount (plate in the front of the bumper)
that gives a centered winch AND a centered fairlead
