The High rock bumper matches the fender flares a little better.

You might as well string a daisy-chain of beer cans across the front frame posts.

Save up and get: AEV 10305055AA - AEV Front Premium Bumper in Black for 07-11 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

If Shittybilt's reputation for poor quality and fit weren't enough. . . that ugly chrome hoop and lame roller bar should be enough to make you lean toward the Body Armor, but I'd keep looking as there are much better options out there within your price range than both of these.

Always choose the blonde with the big bumpers... even if they are aftermarket bumpers and not OEM.

ALWAYS!

My bad!!! For some reason I thought that was the Smitty one . . . I'll recant my comments about the poor quality and fit, but I'm not going to budge on the lame roller thingy or the chrome hoop . . . Sorry Geoff!!! Can somebody explain that big rolling pin hanging off the front?

It's for when you come across a huge pile of bread dough, and want to roll it all out neatly. Or to erase your tracks in a deep pile of mud.

No? OK, try this:

The idea is that it helps you roll up and over big obstacles. You can get one for the back too. JP Magazine just did a review and asked the same question: Silly gimmick or useful feature? They thought the front was silly, but the back offered some decent protection. They also pointed out that if you skip that option, you still get the big "ears" for attaching D-Rings.

Bumper Guard "hoop" is available in chrome or black powder.

If the point was to be able to make it over big obstacles wouldn't you look for something that would allow for better approach and would offer more clearance instead of going with a wide bumper that limits access to the front tire and then slap a rolling pin on it that hangs down even further in the front? Unless it's a perfectly shaped step up or a planter at the mall, it looks like you'd end up rolling right off the rolling pin and into your diff or steering I guess the rear rolling pin is needed to protect that shiney chrome exhaust sleeve . . . not sure what else it would be protecting way back there other than the bumper. Shouldn't it be able to handle the abuse . . . seems a little redundant to have protection for your protection.

Well, that's just mean.

I think the engineer behind that product, who is a big off road nut, thought it would help slide up and over big rocks. And Bestop -loves- to sell "systems" where you can add on to your basic bumper with all sorts of stuff.

Personally, I like minimal bumpers. Not just size, but design. My CJ has C channel. OPTIONS!
----------------------------------

But Sahara was asking a legitimate question about two bumpers, and I'm unfairly dominating the conversation. Excuse me.

I may not be the best authority, as I'm only in the planning stage myself, but.... I personally like the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular Bumper.

Jeep Parts, Jeep Accessories & Jeep Soft Tops From The Jeep Parts Experts - Quadratec

You can build to suit and even do it in stages if you would like. This link should get you something very similar to the 2 you are looking @. The price is comparable, esp. if you consider the shipping charges with the Bestop bumper... Just a thought.
