Whipers in snow

from NY and we have been getting pounded with snow and just did a couple ski trips and my whipers seem to be struggling to get a clean sweap of whatever is on the windshield, i had to stop multiple times to clean it off which still barely worked, and the amt of windshield washer fluid used was immense, anyone know of any solid whipers that they installed and any size information about em? this has been bothering me b/c the car only has 8300 miles on it and the whipers are crapping out already, legit a struggle to see

You can get wipers that are better suited for winter at any auto parts store. The JK takes a 15" wiper, but I have heard that a 16" will fit as well.

Someone mentioned this in a post yesterday if I recall correctly, and the answer was to get "winter wiper blades" I've never seen these, certainly not in TX, nor for the 20+ years I called Wisconsin home, but enough people said that they exist for me to believe they're probably worth a shot. Auto Zone or Advance Auto maybe?
Boy do I miss Wisconsin...

I put 16" Bosch Evo's on my JK but the defroster dont blow low enough and the wipers sit down to low anyway so you are always gonna have the ice and snow build up until the Jeep is burning hot. Its just a bad design and I bit ch about it every morning. Espically since it seems to snow alittle or ice as we had this morning very often lately in the North East. If the wipers sat up alittle higher this wouldnt be such an issue but theres not much you can do about it. The 16 inch blades fit with no problem and the single beam, constant pressure design of the Bosch Evo's are pretty much all we sell to people at my store anymore. There a great all season blade and as long as your retailer isnt jacking prices as some do on that product there really no more than a typical winter blade. 14-17$ each depending on size is what you should be paying
