Have always went with black out on tires, but just ordered Cooper STT Pros for my wife's white Rubi and am wondering if the white letters out and painting her rock rings on her Bully Pro wheels (Hydro blue her accent color) might just look good. Tough to picture without seeing it. Does anyone have any feedback or thoughts on this?

Well, for sh!ts and giggles. you could get some of the blue painters tape, and tape up the ring (not the same color, but not far off). then get some of the kids sidewalk chalk. and go to town on the current letters on you're tires. the chalk should wash off the tire.

You will have a pretty good idea if it's a good to go or not.

I dig my WLO (white letters out). DO IT.. :thumb:

On the level 8 bully Pro wheels the ring is removable so I would remove them to paint. But really having trouble getting the nerve to mount letters out. Road force balance would be an extra fifty bucks wasted if we wanted to go back to black.

I think it's a regional thing. Nobody in So Cal puts the white letters out but plenty of people do in mid America and the East Coast. I personally don't like the white letters out.

But if you want them black, go get dirty.

Makes perfect sense. We avoid mud whenever possible, but we seem to be drawn to rocks. Looking at what we have done to our Duratrac's and wheels on our 2013, we are beginning to think we will not take long to scrape and damage white letters. May have to stick to black out. I like the look on X1buelist above and I bet your's look good too. Something my wife and I were bouncing back and forth. No big deal,

Thanks for the input, I always appreciate my fellow wranglers opines.

^I don't blame you...I avoid mud like crazy.
As in...I NEVER go mudding because I despise mud.

But, some trails are just muddy...no way around it.

I'm not on rocks, so I won't suffer from too much scraping. But I'll never have snow white outlines.

BTW, you know what else sucks about mud? The massive amount of bugs that it brings. I tried to go top down....LOL...I hauled ass out of there, put the top up, closed the windows, turned on the AC, and tried again.
