white top?

Plan on purchasing a JKU at the end of the month. Black Sahara. And was wondering if anyone has painted the top part of their hard top white? Similar to the Toyota FY or Mini.

Looking forward to the fun project.

Personally it sounds kind of, well, ugly. But since I won't be driving it...........

If you like it, then enjoy!

The only time I've ever seen that turn out well (read: look good) is on Land Rover Defenders from the factory in colors other than black or silver.

But, hey, whatever you like ...

I would have to agree with the odd looking comment. I like it just matte black but if it is going to be painted, I like body color

If it's heat you're worried about, by some Hotheads. I've heard they're awesome.

probably right. I saw one on ebay that I think was a safari green with white top that looked cool. Not for me, but was wondering. I think i'll stick with black on black...
