White Wheels

I have seen a white JKU with white wheels. At a distance so couldn't ask the driver where he found them.
The look is awesome in my opinion.
I've looked through most of the usual wheel/tire websites and have not found any white wheels.
So, two questions.
1. Anyone seen a manufacturer that produces a white alloy wheel?
2. Is it possible/practical/durable to powder coat or re-spray say a matte black wheel?

Anyway, I do not know anyone that manufactures colored wheels except for street custom wheel manufacturers like Lorenzo or Lexani and the like. You could have them refinished but I wouldn't get one already finished in a matte black or black. I think it would be easier to refinish a chrome or gunmetal.

OR when you order them ask if you can get them colored or order them as bare metal.

Your best bet it to order a wheel in silver and have them powder coated a matte or gloss white whichever you want. locally here in MD to powder coat a set of wheels runs about $300 so if you really want a set of white wheels add that to the price of the wheels you like.

Powder coat is really the only way to go for a durable finish. Paint just wont hold up.

White wheels on an all white jeep would look nice. I have seen the combo on many vehicles and it is a head turner if you keep it clean

I have seen a JK build awhile back that was an "expedition" style. The guy was stressing form over function. It had a pretty classic look. I think he was running some kind of white steel wheels...

I remember the build looking pretty sharp and capable.

I believe they were powder coated steel wheels from a Cherokee. Its a nice jeep.

Aren't those upgraded 18's? You are probally thinking of different white wheels. I at least, was thinking old school white wheels.

When I met my wife, she was actually driving an old school (can't even find pics on the intraweb) white dodge avenger with white wheels that she had just picked up from the dealer! The white on white actually looked pretty good on that little car.

Every car, (or Jeep) has it's own stance and character. I think this is what throws so many off when a real jeep tries to roll around on bling, it doesn't look right. Now I had a lowered (slightly, jeesh) 5.9L Jeep GC when they were the first out with a power SUV. (Might count the GMC typhoon if you want, small block chevy with turbo). That thing was a beast when I was done and I did consider white wheels at one time. I didn't and went with chrome instead! That said, 18 or 20 inch white wheels would make your all white Jeep look like a G-Wagon for sure!
