Who kissed their Rubicon sticker bye?

I did.

White hood sticker on black just isn't clean.

Who else?

I agree. The white stickers were ugly.

Black on the other hand...

You will go to hell if you remove or don't replace the rubi sticker.

I put camouflage Rubi stickers on mine. Still not sure if I want to keep them or go with black. All I know is the silver looked nasty on commando green.

I debadged everything else and changed the hood emblem to the Altitude all-black version, then put some Sergeant's stripes on the sides and an air assault badge on the back.

I like my "RUBICON" stickers. Hell, I paid enough for the damned Jeep, I want people to know it's a Rubicon.

...Or I could just remove the R, U, and B and leave "ICON."

Honestly that's sorta how I feel Con. I see the OP's point though. I am going with the reflective black when I do change it.

No, but I have thought about putting matte black rubicon in place of the reflective ones, on my Black 2 door.

I'm going add Rubicon stickers to my Sahara!
OK...I'm not....

But I will add "Rubicon style" Sahara stickers to it.

I could see why someone would want to pull white Rubi Stickers off of a black Rubi...or the silver Rubi stickers off of Commando Green or Dozer. But if I had a Rubi, I would rock the stickers

I'm also considering refletive black.

You would have to pry my Rubi stickers out of my cold dead hands. Reflective black though could be awesome. If anyone's done that I would like to see pics...

This is a crappy cell phone picture, but the reflective nature popped when I used the flash. And you get the effect.

I still think my favorite swap I have seen was a local JKUR...they took the rubicon stickers off and replaced them with "decepticon" in the same font. Complete with a small decepticon emblem in the middle of the top of the windshield.

My rubi sticker came off about 3 days after purchase, as it was silver and my truck is black.

I replaced it with a new "rubicon" sticker in matte black.

Then ripped that one off too, and now it's RK 2.5 XF-002 in military print.

If I had bought a Rubicon I would have removed it. I still have the Wrangler stickers on for now. Might remove them too though. I'm not a big fan of decals/stickers.

Long story, bear with me though.

I bought a Crush orange Sport in April with plans to do axle swaps and a motor swap. Too bad I fell in love with that stock little Jeep right the way it was. It was so much fun to drive that I decided not to do the extensive mods, and to just buy a Rubicon instead, and drive it the way it came from the factory, completely stock.

Well in the last month that I owned my Sport JK I had installed take off Rubicon tires and wheels from a prior 2010 Rubicon JK I had owned. My friend, who is also really big into Jeeps, had seen my Sport JK with the Rubicon tires and wheels on it several times. Then I bought a Rubicon JK in August, and I bought one the exact same Crush orange color. It looked identical to my Sport JK, except it had Rubicon decals on the hood.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and I go visit my friend that is really big into Jeeps, with the new Rubicon JK. The first thing he does is ask me if I got a new Rubicon. I tell him, "no, its the same Sport I've owned all along, I just put Rubicon stickers on it. I figured the Sport looked like a Rubicon with those Rubicon tires and wheels on it, so I just added the stickers". Man did I hear it from my friend. It was hilarious, he went totally off his rocker, LOL. Way too funny!
