That guy may have spent more money, but I still think Bully JK is cooler.

$40K?! Just a tad too much for a 2008 2wd JKU.

I'd take those "custom" doors that look a lot like Body Armor trail doors.

Good example of an inner city Jeep.

"Train Horn
smoked taillights
American Force 20" inch wheels with brand new falken tires

2WD is a possible give away. That said, it is ok to have an inner city jeep without being banished from the "community" right? 🙊 lol

By definition, aren't we "dumping" money into our jeeps? When you say investment that implies you will actually see a return on your initial outlay.

Well I guess I have a inner city jeep because I have 3 out of 4 , but I do wish I had train horns

So point me to the inner city and I also have a 2wd jeep so I should fit in pretty good

To me it looks tacky, especially those tires sticking way out on a stock suspension but to each their own. What I don't get at all is sinking all of that money into a 2wheel drive. If money was not an issue why not start with a 4wheel drive. Rather than putting a winch on it?!

Those wheels are way to big for those tires. And his back gate is probably bent to hell with all that extra weight on it

Why make a 2wd wrangler in the first place? Bet it drives like its on rails with those sweet wheels/tires...

Here is a few reasons:

- Deliver mail
- A notable percentage of Jeeps never go off road
- Training vehicle to learn to drive off-road
- Off road racing
- Weight reduction
- Ultra custom show vehicle
- Improve CAFE ratings

Brokerugger, I agree with you, 2 wheel drive? Wrangler?? What's the point?

Spinlock, Most Never Off-road?, Mail delivery? How about Snow and freezing rain? All of my 3 jeeps over the years were not just bought for playing off-road, mainly for winter driving conditions, getting to work before the plows go thru at 4:30am....Playing off road is just an option..I want 4 wheel for getting thru the elements, my wife's a nurse but she chose a Nissan( I'm trying to get another Jeep for her).. I would not feel comfortable not having four wheel for the both of us, she works 12 hr shifts over the weekends. Just my opinion. If I lived in an area where we didn't have bad weather, I'd buy another Z-28 for all year driving.

My jeep is my dd. I live in ny state and need something that can get me through whatever weather throws at us and look awesome. I hardly ever go off-road and even then it's very timid trails.
Ed Pursell, my girl is a nurse as well and she never misses a day bc of Jeep Jeep

Spinlock those might be reasons a person would purchase a 2wd wrangler but it just seems silly for an "off-road" branded and advertised vehicle to have that as an option.

2wd Jeeps are offered for the same reason 6 cylinder Mustangs are.

Had a guy at work bought a 2wd JKU and thought it was the bomb everyone laughed at him over being 2wdI bought my 12 sport and within a month he bought a real JKU he thought he would save on gas and never go off road well to this day as far as I know it is still a mall crawler .I guess 2wd jeeps have a place but not in my world.

Bad people doing bad things to good vehicles!

To each their own...not something I'd do, but whatever trips his trigger.
