I've had my 2011 JK for about 9 months now and have had some minor issues with it. Stupid stuff like the OD switch went bad, fuses blowing, battery dying while away in vacation, soft top having to be replaced... Small things like that...

Yesterday I drove home from work and went to the gym. Left the gym and started it up... It was getting dark. So I turn on the headlights... Nothing. So I figure I'll hurry up and get home before it's too dark and before in out of the parking lot it starts pouring(of course) Try to turn on the windshield wipers... Nothing. Leaving the parking lot... No turn signals... Have a fun trip home thinking how great it is that my warranty expired last month and start looking online. I go out and disconnect the battery let it sit for a few and reconnect and everything works fine again.

Lesson learned is to always carry tools with me(my own stupid fault). But even with things like yesterday... If this were any other vehicle... I'd be looking for something new and calling it a POS but I'm like... It's fine... Sh!t happens. Why is that??

Jeeps and probably those of us who love them are a unique breed. We are many things (list could be long) but one thing we are not for the most part - are people that simply look at their vehicles as a necessary evil to get from point A to point B.
Much like we love our Dogs or Kids - we take the bad with the good because that is what you do when you are connected to someone or something.
The Jeep doesn't bail on us when we run it through a mud hole or park it on top of a snow bank so.... we return the favor when it gets in a "mood".
That's why:)
