I always wave...always! My husband makes fun of me because I may be a little too enthusiastic. Haha! Jeepers of all kinds rock!

I don't think anyone 'hates' them.. I'ts just that some need the extra room and some don't. I personally don't care for the look compared to the two door but I also know that Chry. makes nearly 2x as many JKU's as two door models. I wave at all of them..

M'eh, who cares? I don't think there's any significant "hatred." There might be "chops busting," but not really "hatred." The vast, vast majority of jeepers don't look down upon other models (YJs v. TJs, JKs v. TJs, TJs v. LJs, JKs v. JKUs, etc.), so just hang out with those people.

I get plenty of waves, etc. To the extent there's any "hatred" for 4 doors, I say 90% of it evaporates once you start adding mods to differentiate it in a custom way from the average mall crawler. Start adding lifts, tires, wheels, bumpers, etc. etc. and your 4 door won't have any "acceptance problems."

What is your opinion on waving at ALL Jeeps (Liberty, Cherokee, Patriot, etc.)??? I only wave to those drives whom have mods and might actually wheel their rides.....which is why Jeeps were invented to begin with!!
Why no love for Stock Jeepers??? Kind of contradicting calling someone a Dick for not waving when you only wave at Modded Jeeps. No Disrespect, a Jeeps a Jeep, mod or no mod

On my motorcycle - almost 100% return the wave.
Almost 7 months with the JK- only 1 wave but a lot of funny looks when I wave but I do it anyway - doesn't matter to me if its 2 or 4 door ROTFL.

SO gets more feedback when he drives the JKU than when I do! He thought about it, and then he agreed. And then there are the folks who think neither Wranglers are "mine" and he is the one who a) wants all of the mods, b) decides who drives what, and c) has the last say on what mods get done in what order.

The police officers who stopped at the light next to me two nights ago make up for many of the non-responces in the last month. He asked as many questions about The Freezer as he could before the light turned green and then craned his neck to continue looking back. I was pleased as punch!

I'm sorta new to this whole Jeep thing and I definitly misunderstood a few things that might have casued me some issues.

1) When everyone said drive your Jeep naked and wave, my wife had to explain to me after the police stopped me that naked meant no top or doors. See I thought no clothes.

2) Being from Chicago a "wave" meant giving the 1 finger salute, now I understand that it's really a wave thing. Than is it a Queen Elizabeth type wave or a high school cheerleader wave.

This Jeep stuff is very confusing.

As to peoples issues with a JKU. I was driving last night, naked. And said to my wife, I can't imagine owning a differant vehicle. 4 door, covertible, comfortable and enough storage. The 2 door wouldn't have worked for me.
