Two words: Heated Seats.

She's very happy. She also likes the freedom top, she can keep her side on.

my wife could care less so long as it does not cut into household expenses.. the only thing she dislikes is the fact its to high,, ( she is only 4-10 ) when i told her it will be 3-4 inches taller after the new tires and 1 inch body life,, she replied you dont need another 2 inches,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and yeah i went there.

Every time I buy something for the Jeep she expects me to buy something for her too.

I hear ya, ditto!
I married a one of a kind woman that loves to do everything I do, so it's 2 of everything....2 ATV's, 2 Motorcycles, 2 Sleds, etc...Expensive to upkeep!
I had to tell her the other day when we were at the Jeep dealer that we shouldn't trade in our 2010 DC Tacoma on a 2nd JKU ( ARCTIC Edition or Orange Crush ) cause we need the use of a Truck. It's her's btw but she has serious Jeep fever now. Must be the heated seats!

My wife loves the Jeep. She takes it when she runs errands on the weekend if she knows I won't be going anywhere. She does NOT like the modding process. Direct quote: "You just paid $25,000 for a vehicle and now you have to put more money into it?"

My wife loves the jeep, she just doesn't like that in my spare time I'm out doing something to it. And she hates it when I want to buy a new mod. She doesn't understand and prolly never will.

This helped me ...
We bought her a 2011 JKU last year (she loves it).
Now we're picking up her 2012 JKU BFG in 2 weeks (trading the 2011 for the Pentastar).
This "justified" my ordering a new Rubicon WC on 2-17.
Now she looks in the aftermarket catalogs before I do.

My GF hates my new JKUR. She can't figure out why I got rid of my '08 GMC Sierra for a Jeep. All I hear are "The seats are uncomfortable", "The truck was so much bigger", "How are we going to fit everything we take with us on vacation?", "The seat belt hurts", "I can't get in this thing", "This thing rides rough", "What do you mean this thing doesn't have electric seats?", "Why do you want to lift it? I can't get in it as it is", "Why does this thing have this bar all around?" (Roll bar) "The headlights suck" (I'll give her that one) And my personal favorite line..."Well...as long as you like it..."

She doesn't understand why other Wrangler drivers wave either. She thinks that its weird that we wave.
Oh well...Some people just don't get it I guess.

At least you're learning this before you're legally bound to her! There is still time to open your canopy and parachute safely! Lol

But seriously...

Not to rub it in or anything, but my lovely wife insisted on getting me a spare tire cover.
Black denim with "RUBICON" across it.

She's an angel...I just hope the cover fits the spare!

But seriously...
I actually think that it is kind of funny. It's like she's looking for things to nit pick. I bought her a new GMC Terrain last year, and she loves "that thing".

Maybe I should let her drive it? She hasn't driven it yet. It's only a few days old. I picked it up last Tuesday.

You're right...I can always pull the ejection handle!, but I am hoping it grows on her.

Ok sorry but prepare to be jealous but my wife just happens to win in the jeep arena, I've been surprised at home with a roll cage in my garage on my birthday that she found and researched it all without me even knowing , i just traded a 10 for a 12 and lifted it within a few weeks and she had me drive it to her work to show her friends and they took pics, sorry she does not have a sister and we have been married 19 years so she is stuck with me

Like I've said before, the JKU is the wife's ride and the only time I've ever driven it alone and without her, is for taking it down to the Dealership for a tid bit or two.

Don't get me wrong its still a struggle lol, we negotiated that I would leave it stock for a few years while we were at the dealership, I have to think deep down she knew I couldn't keep that promise, I also was looking up lifts and tires while we were doing the financing, I'm sure our salesman thought I was mental....

I think my gf is pretty understanding about mods. Of course now that I've done a few minor things to it and started talking about lifts and wheels/tires I got the "when am I gonna get something" (i.e. a ring) question lol. Hmmm, there went my lift lol.

I think it's safe to say my JK is close to the last vehicle in the world my wife would buy for herself. That being said, she loves that I love it. It makes me happy, that makes her happy. She may not UNDERSTAND why it makes me happy, but she is glad that it does. She has also been very cool with the mods. It took some explaining to convince her but now she's on board. I had to explain I bought a relatively cheep $25K Jeep with the understanding that I would be pumping a few grand into it for mods over the next few years. Given that her vehicle stock was $36K she is fine with it

I have to say mine loves it as well! She always likes to ride in it, more so when the doors off and top down. She even told me today to give her a refresher course in driving a 5 speed cause she wants to drive it every now and then. She even gave me the go ahead to get my lift and tires after she saw the result of my mod crazy weekend I had last weekend!

I don't say anything to her about her pocket book and shoe ebay/etsy purchases so she doesn't really give me to much gruff about my spending habits

My wife kids me about my jeep.
But she knew I had always wanted one.
She talked me into buying it last July.
So because I love her,, the first topless/doorless trip we made she drove it.
After 25 years of marriage she knows how to make here man happy. :-)

My wife hates my lifted 08 on 37s.

She is ok with the loaded 12....till I start modding it out as well I'll give her 6 months of enjoyment.
