keep the comments coming, im hoping someone has done it already and can give me a definite answer. im leaning towards yes it can be done. i agree the 30 inch jeep is extreme but 26s will fit nice.

I'm 19 and feel old school about many things. I may do 16"s if I ever break the 35" tire mark but that's about my limit. A good rule of thumb is tire hight should b twice the rim size for off roading. Ex. 15" rim on 30" tire

Mayb on a hummer or escalade. Anything over 18" on a jeep is just a disgrace

I've found myself tollerating 20in rims but good god jay.. The mere thought of anything bigger on a Jeep makes me sick to my stomach and is disgraceful to the masses in the jeep community.. It's your jeep, do what you want with it but don't expect manny to apreciate what you are doing to it..

Not trying to be mean.. Thats just the way it is.. Jeep is for freedom, adventure, fun.. Hummer is for chrome, dubs, and heavy jewelry..

Yeah on second thought you should just go buy a hummer and become one of those Dbags that tries to come up for his short comings.

I actually do beleive him lol.. there is a crowd for those kinds of modifacations and well they are liable just as we do to come looking for anwsers on questions of modification no matter how wrong those mods might be considered. If you are like Jay and can't afford a hummer (not saying he can't, I don't know him), you buy a JKU.. And if you buy a JKU it is very possible when in need of a anwser to a question about your wrangler you might end up here lol

I hope your joking, if you read this forum at all you would know what people here think about any wheel 20" or more on a Jeep. Most think it is a stupid way to ruin a great Jeep. It sort of like putting a tutu on a pro wrestler.

He will, give him a couple of months.... That guy has had more tires on his JK since he got it, than I've bought in my entire life I believe, and I've been driving longer than he's been alive......

You're an idiot. Do like I said earlier and go trade your Jeep in on an Escalade, and save it the terrible thing you're considering doing to it.

I think the 15's look best too with the larger tires. More sidewalls bubble effect is sexy

I just hope you never plan on taking it off road. I've winched out Land Rovers, Toyotas, even Hummers. But I got to draw the line somewhere. And it breaks my heart to do that to another Jeep owner. But you don't deserve to own a Jeep.
