Being that is a 33x12/26 I didn't think much of it saying 30 due to the translation of tire size being a 26in rim is being used

wow, the logistics alone.........

sure they'll fit, but between the sheer amount of unsprung weight slowing your jeep down that much more, then the lack of sidewall making your jeep ride even rougher......

then there's the "just because you can" aspect..........

man, i'm beginning to hope the mayans were right.

Well if the question is still, will it fit... then the answer is yes. With enough money anything can/will be made to fit.

^My girlfriend wouldn't go near it! She hates large rims and flashy vehicles, she ranks them right next to Ricers. No thanks!

Most of us are old farts enough to know that sophisticated women wouldn't bite on that.

also not shown: women leaving the stuck jeep with the retarded rims to catch a ride in a stock jeep that hasn't had it's offroad ability neutered in the name of bling blang, because women know function is more important than form.

All the more reason to suggest a Hummer or Tahoe (same truck anyway).

You got to admit, Jay954 is taking a ton of heat for announcing his plans to use these wheels. I can't recall the last time I saw somebody get flamed like this. The entire thread is three answers to his question ("yes, you can do it") surrounded by 84 flaming arrows.

BUT, he is being a darn good sport about it. So for that, I applaud him.

As to those wheels though . . .

Jay, let me try to help a little. I know you don't offroad. But, let me give you just a few things to consider before getting 26s:

(1) Your ride will be much less comortable with tires like that. That's pretty significant in light of how uncomfortable a Wrangler already is.
(2) I'd expect the weight of those wheels would significantly impact your Jeep's power. Even just 10 pounds of extra "unsprung weight" (as the weight of wheels is) feels like 100 extra pounds in the vehicle.
(3) Tires are going to cost a bloody damn fortune. And remember, your Jeep has 5 wheels not 4.

You may wish to consider a compromise, such as a 20" wheel along with some slightly more aggressive tires--take a look at this. While pushing the bounds of Wrangler decency, this 20" wheel and tire set up at least maintains a semblance of Jeep offroad credibility while still giving you a bigger wheel. Please consider it . . . for the sake of the children. And the kittens.
