I have a 2012 JK with 7,000 miles on factory 17" wheels and tires. Being new to Jeeps I have been trying to educate myself about my tire and wheel options, without going all out right away for 35's or anything like that. I saw here on the forum where you could find fairly new sets of Rubicon wheels and tires in craigslist for fairly cheap. I have been looking for some of the more aggressive tread tires that come on Rubicons and I am seeing sets listed as 17" and 18". My question is: will either of the Rubicon wheels fit my Wrangler Sport without any problems (needing spacers, etc.) Also, what will going to the 18" wheel and tires do to my gas mileage? It's a Jeep after all but whatever milage you can get out of it is all good. By the way, I have a Terraflex leveling kit installed if that helps. Thanks for any advice.

Rubicon wheels will fit without any problem whatsoever. No spacers needed.
Can't really answer the 18" wheel question. You can actually increase wheel size and not affect fuel economy if the weight of your wheel/tire combo stays the same and there is no overall increase of tire diameter. (Someone correct me if I am wrong here.)
Cool!!! Thanks for the help folks!!! I may try to find the Sahara 18" tires and wheels. With only 7,000 miles on my stock tires I can afford to spend the time looking for the right deal. Thanks again for the help!!! Brett
I put Rubi BFG M/T take offs on my 12 sport no issue but it did throw off my speedo by 4MPH according to my GPS and I lost about 1-2 MPGs the tires are Heavier than our stock ones but I love the performance they will go anywhere I have taken it and ride great I would buy another set when these wear out.
My guess is that you had a base Sport...so you were on the 16" steel rims with 29" tires. Going to any of the other wheels would throw you speedo off. The OP already has 32" tires....so the Sahara and Rubi wheels will be fine. But they are heavier than what he is used to.
JL wheels will fit a JK. You want to use the JK lugnuts and remove the star washers that hold the brake discs on. But you will probably need wheel spacers to clear tires that big with stock backspacing wheels.
* * CLIFF'S NOTES: YES THEY WILL WORK, USE THE JK LUG NUT AND MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE ROTOR RETAINING CLIPS. * * EDIT 1/28/19: Important safety note: JL Rubicon wheels are not recessed on the back side for rotor retaining washers as JK wheels are, and may not seat correctly if mounted...
