Can't see the pics, but:
Stock wheels are 5x5 (or 5x127 metric) with 71.5 hub center bore.
BS on that wheel will be 5.71 (math correct?) which is a little better than stock (6.25) but not optimum. If doing larger tires you really want 4.5 BS max.

Also:
That's like a 1/4" difference in hub diameter.

Doable? ehhh, I guess
Should you? Probably not.

^^^Your math is correct!!
Not enough BS!!!
A 5.0 BS Minimum will work. The Forum favorite leans toward the 4.5 BS!!!!!!!

^^^These will help you to understand, Wheel width options, Back Spacing and offset..........:thumb:

They would limit you to a tire width of 11.0 or less. That's not enough back spacing to run anything wider.

So question. I have a 2015 JKU sport, bought that cause I planed on doing all my own upgrades, wheels/tires/lift/etc...

I'm going with a 35x12.50x20 tire either nitto or Toyo (sub of nitto, I use to sell tires and have had nothing but the best of experience with these a brands only) so we know the wheel is 20". For what I am looking at we are seeing 20x9 et:-12 (4.5BS) 20x10 et:-24 (4.5BS) and then what I really want is the 20x12 (4.75ish BS). Jeep has no lift, I know factory already did some trimming from 2014 and up model years to accommodate the squeeze of 35s w/minimal off-roading. My extent of off-road is logging trails to a camp in northern Maine Indian reserv. Mostly Daily Driver, so no lift just yet, I want 20x12 et:-44 (BS=4.75approx) with 35x12.50x20s dream setup deepish lip, expert opinion please and thank you :) and I know the -44 offset with lip is usually recommended with a lift (future will be 2.5" to 3.5" of true lift and not body and no bumpstop for active usable flex and travel). Newish to jeeps.

I'm no expert.

IMO you need to decide between the look of a 20 and the functionality of them on the logging trails. There's a reason people recommend a max of 17" wheel on Jeeps that see a trail. The extra sidewall will allow you to air down and save your back, and your wheels on those trails.

If you're OK with that then I would suggest the 20x10 et:-24 (4.5BS). IMO even with a lift the 20x12 will rub the frame rail at full lock. I have the 13.5 wide Toyos and 4.5 BS, the tire rubs at full lock. No biggie, but a wheel rubbing at full lock will be an issue.
