winch mounts on stock JK bumper

I want to put a winch on my stock 2012 JK bumper. Does anyone know what mounts are good for that? and other than the mounts and winch is there anything else I need?

Thanks for the help

Warn makes a mounting plate for the stock bumper. That's what I've been looking into.

You might want to look into an accessory kit, or atleast a tree saver strap for recovery. Kits I've looked at run $300 to $500, which can be on the expensive side.

Here are a few:Winch Plates - Quadratec

Or if you're mildly ambitious and or mildly handy, you can give this a try:

Thats amazing! but a little out of my league. Thanks for the link thats where i've been looking. I looked at the WARN Winch Mounting Plate WARN 74247 - WARN Winch Mounting Plate for 07-11 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with OE Bumper - Quadratec but 381 seems a little much for a plate. Its that a decent price?

It seems a bit steep to me, but, I'm not that well versed in winches and such. I used a generic mounting plate from Superwinch, came with the winch I bought. If purchased seperatly it would be around $100 give or take.

With a little grinding and/or drilling, you can get any winch plate to bolt to your Jeep.

But then you have to trust that it will stay there when you use the winch.
