Does anyone know which winch will fit the factory bumper? I would like this to be my first mod, but not sure which will fit? Also wondering if anything else will be required, like mounting bracket, or upgrade to the factory battery? Also this will be my first winch purchase and wondering ifI should be going with synthetic or not? Most likely looking at Warn, like the Zeon 8000-s or the 9.5cti, but not sure?
Hey now we dont need the grammer police. You don't need to drill holes no matter what. Tighten down the winch before the bumper. If you don't then you can still get the bolts with an open ended stubby wrench. You can drill holes if you want. Does it make it easier? Yes I'm sure it would but I don't like cutting anymore than I have to
Sorry You probably have it figured out already. You have to unplug the hose and re route it but all the plugs go toward the radiator. Looks like you have it right.
I already had some rake, seems a little more now. I really did not want much of a lift. (although I would like some 35's). Rather use offset and flat fenders to make that happen. With that said I have always been a Rancho fan, and their 2" sport system with the RS9000 shocks looks appealing.
What do you like about the Teraflex you are looking at?
Interested in the 1.5" Performance Levelling kit as it provides new springs instead of "pucks". Like you happy to stick with stock tires or may go with 33's when it's time to change out
Has anybody tried fitting a Zeon 10S on the stock 10A bumper using the OEM winch plate rather than the Maximus? You would have to center the fairlead hole (like on the Maximus) and drill new centered mounting holes for the winch (which the Maximus already has). But I am wondering if the Zeon will actually fit within the "box" created by the OEM winch plate.
