Windshield cracks

I previously had an 07 2-door that the windshield cracked twice. I now have an 08 4-door and it's windshield just cracked.

Anyone else having problems?

My TJ is cracked right now. It makes sense that it may be a comon issue since they arent angled at all.

it cracked for no reason, or did a rock hit it? if it cracked for no reason then there is a definite problem. if a rock chipped it and it cracked from there, then that is a common problem. i've had to replace the windshield on my tj once and fix chips 5 times.

The latest crack started below the windshield wiper. I don't recall a rock hitting it and I'm not sure how a rock would hit it there anyway.

I have never had a windshield in any other vehicle crack from rocks.

We had the windshield replaced under warranty last month on my girlfriend's JK. No rock chips, just a crack along the lower windshield above the defrost vents.

Im averaging about 100 miles a day at highway speeds and I have about 10 chips and one huge long ass crack. Dam flat windshield! I have glass coverage but I want to wait until spring and all the sand and stones get swept up off the roads.

I believe there might be a TSB out about the windshield cracking. Seems to happen to many people and dealers are replacing them.

Not sure what a "coner" is but the crack started below the driver side windshield wiper as stated above.
