Windshield light bracket Question

Can some one tell me how much room or distance from the mount hole to the windshield. Just wondering how big of light I can mount. I would think different brands would be a bit different.

I am hoping I can mount a self contained HID light there. I am trying to get that distance also.

Thanks for any help.

To my knowledge you can mount KC daylighters on all brackets. Those have a pretty deep housing. You could compare the specs of your light to those to see if its much different
